COVID19 & Wellness: Mental Health Awareness Month 2020

It's Mental Health Awareness month and in the midst of a global pandemic. So what does wellness look like for you and me in 2020, before and after COVID19? We can start with the basics, and what is wellness, "the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal." Wellness is the essence and condition of being in optimal overall health. Ideally it's an actively sought out goal and lifestyle that promotes this wellness. As this global COVID19 outbreak took over our lives and new normal of wearing masks and gloves to run errands. There was little time to be still and soak it all in. We're still living in an era of busyness, adjusting to quarantines, social distancing, Zoom video calls, avoiding social isolation. Our calendars and daily to do lists continues to grow! Filled work from home schedules and days filled with meetings with colleagues, clients or patients. Parents with children at home 'schooling,' on Zoom then add endless so
